The 'Worker' range

The top of the South is one of New Zealand’s natural fruit bowls, home to an abundance of horticultural crops.

Season on season, we are so lucky to be able to welcome a new (or returning) wave of seasonal workers to help us nurture those crops and deliver them to the world.

It’s only right that we give them a place to call their own while they’re here. Our cabins have been specially designed for use as RSE worker accommodation.

Available in one or two-bedroom options, our cabins were designed to meet New Zealand requirements for RSE worker accommodation, and can come furnished or unfurnished.

Each of our standard cabins is built with 2.4 metre high ceilings and is built to the New Zealand building code standard.

Key features include:

  • Timber framing
  • Double glazed doors & windows with aluminium joinery
  • Fully insulated floors, walls and ceilings
  • Corrugated iron exterior
  • Plywood walls and ceilings for durability & stability
  • Power points and lights with a four-year electrical warrant of fitness
  • Carpet
  • Heater

Optional extras include:

  • Blinds
  • Smoke Alarm
  • TV
  • Built in Beds
  • Wardrobes
  • Deck

Our cabins are easy to connect to the grid with a simple extension cord. We build them on-site in our Nelson yard and deliver them to your chosen location by truck.

Other ‘from-the-design-book’ options

While our standard cabins have been designed with seasonal or RSE worker accommodation for vineyards and orchards in mind, we have the ability to custom design and build a cabin for any purpose. We offer a series of standard cabin options which can be fitted out to suit your needs. Named for our love of New Zealand’s Great Walks, they are as follows:
